Answer: Beautiful, natural, timeless. Those words encapsulate my ethos of photographing weddings. I am a purist in the sense that I want your photographs to continue looking the best they possibly can. This means no spot colour, no garish editing, nothing that could place your pictures in a certain decade or on the wrong side of retro. They will look just as good in ten years time as they do now, and that is in part, down to my creative nature and perfectionist tendencies. Fashions change, tastes change, but beautiful photography lasts forever.
Much of your day will be photographed in a reportage style and I will remain in the background capturing your day as it unfolds. However, some direction may be required in order to create a truly amazing album.
I will photograph your wedding with passion, whether it’s capturing a natural portrait of you both or the little details of your day. Every picture will have an emotional pull that you will love forever. That is my promise to you.

Answer: I like to keep packages sweet and simple and that is why I only have one main package.

However, should you require something completely bespoke, please let me know using the contact page and I can create something totally unique to you and your day.

Answer: Pre-wedding shoots are a modern but practical (and often fun!) addition to the wedding photography package. They are usually combined with the pre-wedding meeting and give you a fantastic opportunity to have some practice in front of the camera. This means that at your wedding, you can relax in front of the lens and get on with enjoying your day.

You will also have the chance to purchase any images from the shoot and there are a number of products you can choose. Some clients choose a framed image to give to each mother in place of a bouquet during the day. Others like to have a guest book containing pictures from the shoot with blank pages for guests to sign.

Answer: Never. It is my strong belief that every couple should receive 100% dedication from their photographer and this would not be possible should I be shooting more than one wedding a day.

Answer: For all weddings within an hour and a half’s drive of Maidstone, Kent, no travel expenses will be charged. For any weddings further afield, there may be some costs for overnight accommodation and travel.

Answer: It has never happened yet, however I would call one of many high-end wedding photographers that I associate with and arrange for one of them to attend. But rest assured I would do everything in my power to ensure I am there personally.

Answer: That all depends on you and your day. If you would like some formal group shots, I recommend no more than 6 or 7 shots and that these are taken somewhere close to your drinks reception. These will usually take a maximum of 20 minutes.
I strongly recommend taking some time out away from your guests so that I can capture some portraits of just you both. In my experience, most couples enjoy this as an opportunity to take a breather and relax. This can take any time from 10 minutes through to an hour. It all depends on how much time you would both like to spend on photographs of just you.
Timings are usually discussed at the pre-wedding meeting so that they are factored in to your order of events.

Answer: My style of photography is suited to providing each client with a beautiful album first and foremost. However, I appreciate that in this modern age, couples like to have digital copies of images as well as having an album. Images on disc are available to clients to purchase, but they do not replace an album. After all, if you were running out of your house in a fire and had time to save one item, it would be much easier to grab an album as opposed to searching your house for a disc.

Answer: Fantastic! All you need to do is complete some booking forms and return them along with a deposit of £500. This secures your date and my services exclusively for you. The remaining balance is then due one month prior to the wedding.
Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or credit card.

Answer: Absolutely. I love to travel and that means destination weddings are a welcome opportunity. Each wedding abroad is completely one of a kind and so requires a bespoke package. Please contact me to discuss your day.

Answer: I specialise in wedding photography, but I also love to create portraits, as well as capturing interiors and far-flung destinations. Although my wedding work is digital, I still love to use film and often have a play with my Holga, Rollei and Polaroid cameras. You can visit the blog for examples of recent projects.
