I fell in love with photography as a child, helping my dad develop pictures of landscapes in his darkroom. Years later, I too became a photographer.

I am fascinated by people. Few things make me happier than spending a few hours in the company of my family albums. They allow me to dream about a world I never knew - my mum's childhood, my parents' wedding day, my early years - one that I only know existed because the pictures are there to prove it.

This feeling of nostalgia is what motivates my work. I approach each subject, whether it is a wedding, a portrait or even a landscape, with the desire to capture the emotion. Be it happiness or sadness, each picture tells a story of that exact moment in time. That is what I aim to capture.

Other than photography, my passions in life include films, California, Mid Century Modern design, my cat Annie Hall, and growing old with the people I love.

And if Mastermind ever call, they can question me to death on the subject of Mad Men.

Wedding | Salma & Simon | The Groucho Club

Salma and Simon’s London wedding took place at the infamous Groucho Club in Soho, a hangout for celebs and creatives when in town. The day had a very chic and laid back vibe, and with only 50 guests, it felt like an intimate gathering of friends. Straight after the ceremony, we hopped into a black cab and sped off for a little shoot around London as the sun was setting.

Salma and Simon’s day was originally going to be happening abroad, but due to unfortunate circumstances, it wasn’t able to go ahead. Towards the end of the afternoon, they commented on how happy they were with how it had gone, and that really, getting married in London was perfect for them. It was a testament to their love that they were just happy to be married, however it had to happen. That kind of love makes for a beautiful wedding.
